Paul Kreuger BROWN is believed to have be born in Bridgeport Tx. in the early 1900 -1910. He lived and passed away in Wichita Falls between 1970-1985. I don't really have any firm dates, Also, I am not sure, think he may be buried in Bridgeport. Would love to know anything about his mother and father, and if he ever served in the military.

Could you please tell me if there is a reference book for people buried in Clara Cemetery. I am trying to find the gravesite of my aunt, Lou Hazel (Barton) LYON (Lyons?) who died April 5, 1924. I believe they were in the oilfields west of Burkburnett. Can you also send me the names of some persons who will do research at the Wichita County Courthouse for a fee? Thank you for any suggestion or lead you might be able to provide me. North Dakota is a long way from Clara.

SOUTHERLAND: Searching for any data on the SOUTHERLAND family of Fannin Co., TX, especially the lineage of my gr.grandmother, Amanda Elizabeth SOUTHERLAND who was b. 1868-69 TN (need county) and believe her mother's name to be Maggie or Margaret (???). Believe that Amanda's parents moved to OK by 1890 to 1900..Do not know the names. But, Amanda E. Southerland married Sept. 1890 in Rockwall Co., TX to Wm. Henry JERNIGAN b. 1853 (MAR) Hardeman Co., TN son of Wm. Crawford JERNIGAN and Mary Ann (PHILLIPS) TAYLOR. Amanda E. SOUTHERLAND had two brothers named Joseph and James. One brother married an Indian woman in OK and the other res. in Wichita, TX in 1930. Amanda died in Leonard, Fannin Co., TX in 1904 and her dau. Ethyl JERNIGAN d. in 1906 two of age. Wm. I am looking for information on Sanford Emmett Manford RICE who may have died in Wichita County, Texas. He was born in Georgia on 11/05/1869 and lived in Alabama, Louisiana, and Texas. About 1915 he left Alabama and went to LA and later TX. My family has heard that he had other families in each of those states. I found a death index for a S.E.M. RICE on 07/30/1935. Does anyone know if he was the one from Alabama?

Looking for my LOCKE line in Lamar, Paris , Tx Washington Henry Locke b. 1803 VA , moved to Paris Tx about 1854 , Washington Henry LOCKE had 19 kids , 12 were born in Ky 7 were born in Paris Tx , most all of the 19 kids were married in Paris , this is a very large family , I have to believe that some of the descendants of Washington Henry LOCKE may still be in Tx . Searching for Jack or J.S. GOULD who lived in Wichita Falls, Texas in the early 1900s. He may have worked for the railroad. The last bit of info I have, which may or may not be correct, is that he lived in Dallas before he died. He married Ethel Mae PRINGLE before 1918. Also they may have lived in Shamrock, Creek Co., OK.

Mattie BLACKWELL married William Martin HOWARD (1884-1967) between 1910 and 1913. She died after having two children, Frances Jewel HOWARD (1914-1984); and William Martin HOWARD, Jr. (1916-1984). Her death date is between 1917 and 1920. They may have been married in Wise or Wichita County, and Mattie BLACKWELL HOWARD is probably buried in one of those counties. I would like to have her birth and death dates, her parents names, and date of marriage.
