He married Mary Ann Millington in the District of Totnes, County of Devon, England, April 25, 1847.⁽⁴⁾ According to the marriage record, Thomas was 38 and bachelor. Mary Ann was 29 and a spinster. The term spinster did not always have the meaning it does today. In older times, the term simply meant a woman who had never married. Both were living in Brixham at the time of their marriage. They were married in the Registrar's office by Richard Martyn, Registrar.

Mary was born in England July 2, 1815.⁽⁵⁾ Mary was the daughter of William Millington and Mary --?--. Mary died December 14, 1891 in Montague County, Texas, at 76 years of age.⁽⁶⁾ Her body was interred at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, Montague County, Texas.⁽⁷⁾

He married Sarah Nixon Williams in Grimes County, Texas, January 11, 1872.⁽¹⁶⁾ Sarah was born in Louisiana March 31, 1855.⁽¹⁷⁾ Sarah was the daughter of Robert Drake Williams and Thresa Elizabeth Williams. Sarah died June 2, 1933 in Montague County, Texas, at 78 years of age.⁽¹⁸⁾ Her body was interred in Montague County, Texas, at Hopewell Cemetery.⁽¹⁹⁾

Lou was born in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama June 26, 1856.⁽⁴⁰⁾ Lou was the daughter of John Henry Geandreau and Elizabeth Grivet Dorgan. Lou died June 7, 1927 in Jack County, Texas, at 70 years of age.⁽⁴¹⁾ Her body was interred in Cundiff, Jack County, Texas, at Cundiff Cemetery.⁽⁴²⁾

She married John Hampton Young in Jack County, Texas, February 3, 1901.⁽¹¹¹⁾ John was born in Denton County, Texas August 7, 1878.⁽¹¹²⁾ There is some question about John's birth year. On the 1880 census he was listed as two years old by his father and he had a sibling, Birdine, who was born in December of 1879. These two facts suggest he was likely born in 1878. Birdine apparently did not live to adulthood, so an age comparison in John's adult years cannot be made. On all census reports, John lists his birth year as 1879 and his tombstone bears the 1879 birth year. John was the son of Samuel Young and Nancy Adeline Nix.

John died September 28, 1937 in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, at 59 years of age.⁽¹¹³⁾ The immediate cause of death was listed as hypostatic pneumonia complicated by cancer of the liver.

His body was interred September 29, 1937 in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, at Riverside Cemetery.⁽¹¹⁴⁾

When Charlie got married, his father told him he was going to marry out, not in, meaning they weren't going to set up home in his house!
Bessie was born in Silver Lake Community, Van Zandt County, Texas August 30, 1908.⁽¹¹⁶⁾ Bessie was the daughter of James Hardin Levi Marshall and Martha Eula Goolsby. Bessie died November 23, 2000 in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, at 92 years of age. She passed away on Thanksgiving morning. Her brother passed away about 5 hours later in California. Her body was interred November 25, 2000 in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, at Crestview Memorial Park.

They were accompanied by Miss Ella Jarvis, Melrose Huddleston, Mary Cole, Messrs. John Cole, Frank Reed, and Jeff Winters.

Harrie was born in Missouri January 15, 1885. Harrie was the son of Aberdine Gustin and Eliza Bell Mays. Harrie died November 27, 1908 in Jack County, Texas, at 23 years of age.⁽¹²⁵⁾ His body was interred in Montague County, Texas, at Prairie Branch Cemetery.
